It speaks of life, family, relationships, love, honor, and values; there's respect, religion, discipline, accountability, and understanding differences, not leaning on right or wrong. The book notes losing, finding, and making your way in life.
It's an easy, deep and rewarding read that will make you want to re-read it (and travel).
